Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess Carves the Path to a New Gameplay Experience, an Original Soundtrack Release, and Behind-the-Scenes Development Videos!

Starting today, Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess, Capcom’s newest genre-bending IP released on July 19, will feature three new updates across gameplay and digital content, including:
 

  • All-new quality-of-life features that improve and enhance each playthrough
  • Official release of the game’s hauntingly beautiful Original Soundtrack
  • A peek at the making of the game with two new additions to the Behind-the-Scenes video series
 
Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess is available now along with a free demo across Xbox Game Pass, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Windows, PlayStation®5, PlayStation®4, and Steam. New Gameplay Enhancements
Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess continues to improve and enhance its gameplay with 15 quality-of-life features and tweaks now added to the game across all platforms, including:
 
  • Villagers can now be upgraded multiple levels at a time
  • Increased the variety of cats and dogs at bases
  • Added Okami music tracks to the Musician
  • Added an option to change Yoshiro’s pose in Photo Mode
  • And much more!

Perform Your Own Kagura Dance with the Newly Released Original Soundtrack
The highly-requested Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess Original Soundtrack is out now across Apple Music, Spotify, and Amazon Music! The album contains 53 unique Japanese-style songs, many of them composed by popular Japanese composer Chikara Aoshima, and arranged by renowned arrangers.
 
Each song immerses players deeper into the eerie universe of Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess through the use of an analog audio processing method and Dynamic Processing System technology.

Behind-the-Scenes with the Developers!
Prepare yourself for a unique in-depth look at the hands-on development of the characters and music of Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess with two new special behind-the-scenes mini-documentaries on YouTube (“Characters”, “Music”).
 


The “Characters” video takes us straight into the development studio to watch how the in-game costumes and unique movements of the enemy Seethe were created in real life, as well as how the Japanese traditional purifying Kagura dance was recorded through motion capture. Listen in on interviews with Scene Supervisor Saori Izawa, Motion Actor Tsugumi Mugino, and Costume Creator Emi Uchino to learn even more directly from the developers!
 


The “Music” video showcases the actual performance and recording of the game’s music held in Berlin, Germany, as well as interviews with the development team, Composer Chikara Aoshima, and theme song singer/songwriter ermhoi!
