Dead Island 2 Ultimate Edition verschijnt op 22 oktober

PLAION en Dambuster Studios maken met plezier bekend dat Dead Island 2: Ultimate Edition op 22 oktober van dit jaar verschijnt.
 


Naast de complete basisgame Dead Island 2 bevat deze versie ook beide verhalende uitbreidingen - Haus en SoLA – en een vrachtlading aan stijlvolle cosmetics en dodelijke wapens, inclusief het gloednieuwe Kingdom Come: Deliverance II wapenpakket en:
 

  • Memories of Banoi-pakket
  • Golden Weapons-pakket
  • Pulp Weapons-pakket
  • Red’s Demise-pakket
  • Alle zes Slayer's Premium Skin-pakketten

 
En dat is nog niet alles, want de komende Patch 6 – die gratis is voor iedereen die een exemplaar van de game bezit – voegt een nieuwe mode toe aan de game: Neighborhood Watch. Deze co-op horde-mode is ontwikkeld door Fishlabs in samenwerking met Dambuster studios en plaatst spelers tegenover de ene na de andere zwerm zombies.

Als leden van de Bobcats, een nieuw trio College-survivors, moeten spelers hun studentenhuis in Venice Canals verdedigen tegen het ene naar het andere zombie-leger. Om die te verslaan kunnen ze gebruikmaken van nieuwe vaardigheden, wapens en traps (voor het eerst in de serie).

Daarnaast is er de toevoeging van New Game Plus, waarin spelers kunnen terugkeren naar het hart van HELL-A om met hun favoriete personages en wapens een heel nieuwe reeks uitdagingen te overwinnen en beloningen te verdienen. Daarbij krijgen ze ook een extra skill-slot en verhoogde level cap.
