PLAION REPLAI, ATARI Y BANDAI NAMCO ENTERTAINMENT AMERICA INC. ANUNCIAN ATARI 2600+ PAC-MAN EDITION

21 de julio de 2025: PLAION REPLAI, editor y desarrollador líder mundial de software y hardware de videojuegos retro, y Atari, una de las marcas de consumo y productores de entretenimiento interactivo más icónicas del mundo, se enorgullecen de anunciar hoy que Atari 2600+ PAC-MAN Edition, una nueva versión de la consola clásica se lanzará en todo el mundo el 31 de octubre de 2025.  Este nuevo y apasionante producto también celebra la larga colaboración entre Atari y Bandai Namco Entertainment America Inc., siendo Namco el desarrollador original de PAC-MAN.

En homenaje al querido videojuego original que llevó a PAC-MAN a las consolas domésticas por primera vez en el Atari 2600, el nuevo hardware recrea el estilo característico de PAC-MAN.  Para acompañar el lanzamiento, también estará disponible por separado una gama de coloridos joysticks.
 
La colaboración presenta una variedad de ofertas diferentes para los fans de Atari y PAC-MAN, que incluyen:
 

• Atari 2600+ PAC-MAN Edition: Esta nueva versión de la icónica consola viene en el amarillo característico de PAC-MAN, con los íconos de los personajes iluminados en la parte delantera.  La edición también incluye el cartucho PAC-MAN Double Feature y el joystick inalámbrico PAC-MAN CX-40 (amarillo).  Atari 2600+ PAC-MAN Edition se podrá reservar a partir del miércoles 23 de julio, en las cadenas adscritas a la promoción.

• Cartucho PAC-MAN Double Feature: Este cartucho de juego dual incluye PAC-MAN 7800, una nueva versión de estilo arcade del clásico, junto con PAC-MAN 2600, el primer lanzamiento del juego en consola doméstica.

• Joysticks inalámbricos PAC-MAN CX40+ edición fantasma: Los joysticks PAC-MAN están disponibles por separado en cinco colores diferentes: amarillo (PAC-MAN), azul (Inky ghost), rojo (Blinky ghost), rosa (Pinky ghost) y naranja (Clyde ghost); Los joysticks inalámbricos PAC-MAN CX40+ y estarán disponibles para reservar a partir del miércoles 23 de julio.

Los joysticks inalámbricos Atari 2600+ PAC-MAN Edition y PAC-MAN CX40+ se podrán reservar a partir del miércoles 23 de julio en las cadenas adscritas a la promoción, siendo la fecha de lanzamiento de los joysticks inalámbricos Atari 2600+ PAC-MAN Edition y PAC-MAN CX40+ el 31 de octubre de 2025.  También habrá un lanzamiento por separado del cartucho PAC-MAN Double Feature a finales de 2025.
